New Horizon Counseling Center, a thriving behavioral health agency, is seeking licensed Social Workers for its adult home in Queens.
Fee-for-service social worker positions are available.
We are seeking LMSW (Licensed Master Social Workers) and LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselors) with experience working with adults.
Must possess a strong clinical base and experience.
Individuals must have excellent clinical, communication, documentation and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:
Completing screening and intake assessments.
Conducting individual, family and group psychotherapy (as needed) that is focused and goal oriented as clinically determined.
Development of treatment plans.
Crisis intervention.
Formulating discharge plans.
